Forward Fuselage - Right Seat Supports

29-30JUN2024

I finally started on the right seat supports.  This is the area I messed up last time quite a bit, so I've been worried about starting this.

I clecoed both supports in and then tried to put the seat pan in, but my holes were not lining up.  I disassembled and re-assembled a few times, and finally got it.  The supports are a little tall and are causing the seat pan to bow slightly which was pulling the back holes forward.  I was able to get everything re-clecoed together by clecoing the top corner and then the opposite back corner and working out from there.

The drawing shows the rear support attaching to the L-angle on the cabin side.  I had a pretty decent gap between the support and the cabin side.  When I tried to push the support into the cabin side, the top would touch, but the bottom wouldn't.  I ended up making a 3mm spacer to avoid having gaps between the two pieces.

Then I laid out the rivet locations on the seat pan and match drilled those into the rear support.

I also started working on the L-angle between the support and arm rest side.  I got it cut, drilled, and clecoed to the rear support.
