Forward Fuselage - Firewall attached ~ Riveting Aviatrix

The firewall is heavy enough that it was tipping the fuselage and lifting the tail off the bench. So we spent the morning making stands to hold the forward fuselage up and to prop the tail up before attaching the firewall.

Once the stands were in place, I clecoed in the firewall and started working on the engine mount brackets. The engine mounts were hard to clamp down for drilling and it took a while to get those aligned.

Then I back drilled the hole from the firewall into the side skins.
