Zenith confirmed that my left cabin side should've had that l-angle riveted on. Fortunately, I was able to get off work today, so I drove over to the factory this morning and Zenith exchanged the part.
Once back at the hangar, I clecoed the left cabin side back on and then drilled the holes for the right cabin side.
Then I started cutting and drilling l-angles that attach the seat front to the cabin sides. I also back-drilled the rear seat supports to the cabin sides.
