29OCT2022 & 30OCT2022
Saturday (29OCT2022), I worked on the root skin l-angle. Since the skin curves here, I thought the l-angle would fit better if I curved it also. I practiced with a scrap piece first and then crimped the actual l-angle to match the curve on the scrap piece.
I then matched drilled the nose skin support. I'm not too happy with how the nose skin looks - it has some wrinkles.

Sunday (30OCT2022), I had Tom come over and help me attempt to get the wrinkles out of the nose skin. I decided I would just make a fairing later like others have done, so I wasn't as worried about how this area looked; I mainly just wanted the skins to sit flush with each other. We put a couple slots in the skin so that the skin wouldn't sit higher than the other skin. It's still not perfect but it's a little better.
Then I started on the wing tip by trimming off the excess material and a little off the ends where the two pieces fit together. Then I started fitting the front piece and got that cleoced in; I think it looks pretty good.
